Don't you just love spring, especially if you live in one of the northern climate areas where everything goes to sleep for the winter but wakes up again in early spring! We have a huge lilac bush in our backyard. It's so far back that I sometimes forget it's there. But if I take the time to look, the beautiful lilac color pops out with all of nature around her...
I'm celebrating my love of flowers by taking part in Lori Moon's May Flower Challenge. I'll be showcasing more flowers through the entire month of May...
So, any big plans for the weekend? Yesterday, I started working on the slipcover I'm making for my studio chair, and I'm hoping to finish it by the end of this weekend. We'll see how that goes because something always comes along to detour my well thought out plans. Positive thoughts, must think positive thoughts!

Carol - it amazes me how seeing a good photo can actually make my other senses work. I can almost smell the lilacs and it takes me back to my parent's back yard. Thank you for that memory. xoxo
ReplyDeleteLove the lilacs. We have lavender ones up at the mountain house, but they are usually gone by the time we get up there. I think I prefer the pink!
