May Flower Challenge - A little change in plans

Earth laughs in flowers.
                         ~Ralph Waldo Emerson

My good friend, Lori Moon, is hosting a May Flower Challenge on her blog for the entire month of May.  Why I never chose to participate in it sooner, is beyond me.  I have no answer for it.  But yesterday I decided "better late than never" and even though today is May 4, I'm going to be in her Flower Challenge for the rest of the month.

I LOVE flowers!  I love how they look, the beautiful colors, the wonderful fragrances, and the over all good feeling you get when you see and smell them.  So my goal for the month is to show you flowers in every shape and form I can come up with.

If you click on the May Flower link in the first paragraph, it will take you directly to Lori's blog, where you'll be able to check out the other blogs that are participating in her challenge.  Even if you don't have time to check them all out, at least read what she has written about flowers on her blog.

So yesterday I drove over to see my little 14 month old grandson, Corbin.  He's getting so big!  While I was there, I treated my daughter-in-law to Starbucks and, of course, we had to bring Corbin along...

When we returned back to their house, she mentioned about the pink flowers.  I couldn't believe how big her azalea bush was and it was covered in beautiful flowers...

We even had a visitor for this photo...

Aren't they beautiful...

I hope you join me each day to see what lovely flowers I'm sharing with you.
