Earlier this summer I was contacted through Etsy to do a watercolor painting of a house. I mentioned that I usually do just porches or parts of a house. After many conversations and photos that she sent, my sketching and painting began. It so happens that I was painting this for Ann Drake who has a blog named On Sutton Place.
She sent me numerous photos, but for the most part this is what I pretty much followed...

Here is my finished painting, which I sent to her...
She asked if it would be alright for her to blog about this and, of course, I said yes. I'll share with you when she does.
