I've Been Accepted Into Two Shows!

Back in May I mentioned how I had applied to two shows and how I would be thrilled if I got accepted into even one of these shows.  Well, I got accepted into both of them!  Each one is juried, well established and well attended.  The first is the East Grand Rapids Schoolhouse Arts and Crafts Show which will take place on November 23 at the high school.  The second one is the Rogue River Artisans Juried Fine Art and Craft Holiday Sale.  This will be held on December 7 in the Lowell High School, located in Lowell, Michigan.  They are both one day sales, which I'm happy with, and I'll be able to set up my display the evening before.

Even though they're both several months away, the other week I had heard that  www.MOO.com was having a really great sale on ALL their items.   My Fly-Tribe friends were all saying that they loved MOO business cards and that they are very high quality.  Well, they arrived today and I couldn't be happier...

I didn't have our new address to put on my cards so I just went with Grand Rapids.  At least people will know what area I'm from.  I loved the fact that I was able to put my own artwork on these.  They're printed on thick paper, have high gloss on both sides and have the rounded corners.  My friends have said that they really stand out from all the others.  Here's what I had printed on the back of my card...

I've used MOO before for my blank note cards and have been very happy with the results.  So I ordered a LOT more for these two shows, including some of my more recent paintings, like my Ever Watchful fox...

And for the first time ever, I had some of my photography printed and put on a notecard.  Sunflowers from last summer...
