Time is equal to life; therefore, waste your time and waste of your life, or master your time and master your life.

Happy belated St. Patrick's day to all of you, especially those who are of Irish descent! My day started early by taking part, for my first time, at our RV park's Art Exhibit. Artists had the choice of just exhibiting their art and/or selling what they exhibited. I chose to do a bit of each. I haven't sold any of my originals, yet; by choice. But I did have prints and notecards for sale...
Fortunately, we didn't have to have a booth display like you must have at an art show; which was a good thing because my fabric for my tablecloths are all back in Michigan. After setting everything up, I thought it still looked a bit bare...
Although my photos don't show it, I eventually spread out some of my notecards. I was really doing this show to get feedback on my art vs making money. You see, the people IN the RV park are very tight in spend their money and no one ever makes much when doing any show here in the park. I'm happy to say that I did sell a few notecards and ALL of my prints of the mixed media girls. I even got special orders for more prints of the girls, which I will do this week. I think I'm the first to ever display mixed media at the show and the customers and artists where in awe of seeing them. I encouraged everyone to pick them up and look them over. In the end, I was happy for the encouraging feedback and will participate next year, again.
After the show, I had to make the frosting for my Mexican fruit cake. Everyone was requesting it for our happy hour group gathering. You'll find the recipe for it here. We had our usual happy hour, but then Marvin, the chef in our group, had been preparing his special prime rib all day for us. Everyone brought a dish to pass and we indulged in delight in his wonderfully seasoned and perfect prime rib. After dinner and dessert we still sat around and talked until the sun had set.
Needless to say, I was exhausted by the time we got back to our RV.
