It's WHAT Time!

Calendars and clocks exist to measure time, but that signifies little because we all know that an hour can seem as eternity or pass in a flash, according to how we spend it.

I don't know about you, but I just love looking into other people's houses to see how they have it decorated.  I love to decorate and make our surroundings reflect our lifestyle.  One thing you will find throughout our house is our love of clocks.  Mr. Cottage, in particular, loves all the clocks we have.  They chime, ring, pendulums swing and a few have even been handed down from grandparent to parent and now to us.  Some of the clocks Mr. Cottage acquired through his years of service with his employer and a couple were even gifts to him from me...

We even have a little mouse than ran up one of our clocks...

This is a ship's bell clock that literally rings up to eight bells, every four hours...

And these are just from our main floor!  It's not that we watch and keep track of time much, it's just our enjoyment of watching the pendulums and listening to the great sounds.

  2. Very cool! Is it hard to keep them all telling the same time?
