Fabric Paint Cannons and a bit of Persistence

When the world says, "Give up," Hope whispers, "Try it one more time."

I had quite a few errands to run in town today.  So with my list in hand, off I went.  Fabric, check.  Ginger Peach tea, check.  A stop at Ulta to get some goodies, check.  Meet friend for coffee, check.  Get my paint cannon....???  What's that?  Pam Carriker said she got hers at Michael's, but they told me they had never heard of it.  They said in some cases, one store may carry something and another won't.  In fact, they said one state may carry it and another state won't.  Oh dear, I need these.  Off to Hobby Lobby, no deal.  Off to Joann Fabric and Crafts.  Holy Moly!  I don't panic too often, really I don't.  But I need these.  I really do!  I already bought the airbrush medium and I'm all set to start a special project.  Remember this from CREATE...

This was created by using homemade spray paint.  Pam showed us how to do it and what all we needed.

So I finally arrived back at the cottage.  Mr. Cottage had dinner waiting and after dishes, off to the computer I went.  I Googled and googled and still no luck.  Finally I got Pam's handout sheet and saw where it said "Tulip Paint Cannons".  OK, let's try Googling again.  BINGO!!  I finally found it right here on Amazon...

I was bound and determined I was going to find this and was doing a happy dance once I did.  So now I'll have to wait until it's finally delivered, but I'm happy, really happy!

Once I receive them, I'll show you more about using them and how to create your own spray paint.

  2. I think I bought the last fabric paint cannon on Amazon on Monday. They only had one and now it says the product may or may not be available in the future. I think you and I bought the last ones in existence. I have tried everything on the internet and can find many references to it but no one is selling it.

I will just have to wash my ONE out and reuse it for different things.
