I mentioned that I was taking an e-course titled 5 Days, 5 Canvases with Kelly Hoernig.  Kelly's motto on her site says it all "where nature meets creativity".  I showed you my first one of a pear and bees a few days ago.  You can see it right here.   

Here is the second one that I finished this week, with a violet and butterflies...

I love the subtle colors and how everything just seems to pop out at you.  The button and violet are all painted on and very flat, but they almost look three dimensional.

My next one was of fish...

Aren't these cool!  You can almost see them moving slowly through the water. 

I have two more canvases to paint, yet and I'm hoping to try and finish them this coming week.
