Molly had an appointment the other day for her Fluff and Puff. Since her last one, she had had an ear infection and we had to put ointment into her ears. The best way of explaining this would be to imagine putting Vaseline into hair and rubbing it together to see what happens. Needless to say, she had more than the usual matting. This is her before photo...
When I got to the groomer, she took one look at Molly's ears and said the hair will have to go. She said she'll still look cute, just like a little lamb. A lamb? I kept trying to envision her looking like a lamb, but she's our cute little Molly dog and I didn't want a lamb.
A few hours later I picked up our little lamb...
We're slowly adjusting to her new look. I did ask the groomer how long it will take for her hair to grow back on her ears and she estimated about 2 months. At least she'll be keeping her cool for the summer months...
If she ever gets another ear infection, I think we'll ask about drops vs ointment. Not that there's anything wrong with lambs, I just happen to like Molly looking more like a dog.
