I love old, vintage and antique items and I love the hunt for them...
One of the blogs that I follow is Miss Mustard Seed. If you're not familiar with her, she refinishes furniture and sells her items at The Old Luckett Store in Leesburg, VA. While I was in Virginia last week, I thought I would love to go there and check it out. So with Son#1, his wife, Lisa, and my two grandkids, off we went to Leesburg. It didn't seem like it was that far from their house, but traffic in Virginia can be quite heavy at times, but we finally made it...
We parked in the back and I was in awe of all the little "shops" that were set up with all kinds of goodies in and around them...
I really didn't take many photos once inside because I was just too busy looking at all the goodies. I liked this pillow with the butterfly...
And I had to take a photo of this wing for my Fly-Tribe friends to see...
But the only thing I walked out of the shop with was one grain sack. That's it!! Unbelievable for me! I have a couple of ideas for it and when I decide what I'm going to do with it, I'll be sure to share it with you.
I could have spent much more time there, but knowing we didn't have the room to haul a lot of goodies back with us and knowing that not everyone was as excited as I was about being here, I figured it was probably time to go. As I paid for my purchase, I grabbed a couple of their business cards just because they were cute and I loved them...
If you're in the area, you'll have to check it out...

It's on my list of places to go! I would love to get there during the summer fair they have!
