Autumn is my favorite season of the year.  I LOVE IT!  I usually get right in the mood just after Labor Day.  That's when I start decorating our house for fall and Halloween.  As you know Mr. Cottage and I just moved back home from the cottage less than a week ago and I haven't had a chance to do much decorating yet.  I have a little decorating project I want to make and for it I need 6 small white pumpkins, approximately 4-5 inches in size.  I've looked high and low all over for the past few weeks and I just can't find the fake ones that I really want.  So today I went on another hunt and my first stop was at Flowerland.  It's a local store but they have several in the Grand Rapids area and they have wonderful items in it, plus it's a nursery.  I didn't find any fake, but I did find some real ones that were smaller than I wanted...

                             
While I was there, look what I found.  They're really blue and pink and gorgeous.  Maybe next year...

It was one of those strange days in Michigan where it rained one minute in one area and a mile away, no rain.  Sunshine one minute and clouds the next.  The weatherman called it lake effect rain.  This is the first time I've heard that!  I'm use to lake effect snow instead...

Look what I found on my last stop, a burlap pumpkin with velvet and the best part, it was 40% off at Hobby Lobby...
