Back in May I mentioned that I was working on a family photo wall.  You can read it here.  I am making progress, but now that summer is here and we're spending more time at the cottage, my progress has been slower than molasses.  I was really hoping to have this completed by the time our oldest son and family arrive from Texas next week, but that's not going to happen.

 

I thought I had gathered up all the photos I might select from, but the other day I decided I needed a few more.  So back into the tubs I went and seriously got lost in them!  So many photos and so many memories.  Anyways, I found a few of what I had been looking for and then some...including photos I took of our cottage before be closed on it. 

 

Remember the tour of our kitchen and I had mentioned I wished I had taken before photos of our cabinets before I painted them?  Well, obviously I did...SURPRISE!

The previous owners took all their valances with them (thank goodness) and we turned our new cottage into a place of real rustic beauty that we love.
