A Burlap Clipboard...It Can't Get Any Easier Than This

Creativity is intelligence having fun.
                                    ~Albert Einstein

A few months ago, Lucy from Craftberry Bush, had a free printable on her blog that I thought would be great in our entry...

I didn't want to hang it on the wall and I didn't want it in a frame.  So I decided to use a clipboard and just lean it against the wall.  But not just any clipboard, I wanted a burlap clipboard; which I couldn't find.  I've since seen a few online but they are very expensive.  So next best thing, I bought some burlap boards from Michael's.  They're just like flat canvas boards, but with burlap already on them.  No spraying or gluing required!  In the aisle with all of Tim Holtz supplies, I found clips that had a flat back and could actually be glued on...

I already had the perfect glue at home...

If you've never heard of Glossy Accents or have never tried it, it's wonderful.  It dries clear and really holds well.  Any craft/hobby store sells it.  I measured the center of my canvas board and then applied the Glossy Accents to both the board and the clip...

See...EASY!
