If dogs could talk, it would take a lot of the fun out of owning one.

Mr. Cottage and I had to dog sit for Hoover, our grand dog, for a total of three weeks straight. Now this may or may not be a big deal for some of you, but truthfully, Molly isn't too fond of Hoover. Hoover, on the other hand, loves Molly. I think it all started when Hoover was a puppy (and was already larger than Molly) and she started playing with Molly as if Molly were a toy. Dogs have a great memory and obviously, Molly hasn't forgotten.
So for the majority of the time we had Hoover, Molly pretty much camped out in our bedroom, at the cottage; and under our couch once we moved back home. You can see one of Hoover's favorite places, Molly's pillow pet...
Another favorite place is with me stretched out on the couch and her on top of me. Look closely, the brown is my pj top and the blue and black print my pj bottoms. I'd say she really loves her grandma...
Hoover is trying to get her grandpa's attention...
Seriously, these are all of our toys, not Hoovers. Any of our grand dogs can play with them. Molly doesn't mind sharing her toys...
Hoover's mom and dad got her a Pluto pillow pet from Disney World. Now she's pretty comfortable back home again...
And Molly is back to being on the couch...
When she realized I was taking photos, she actually moved into more of a posing position. Seriously!!!
Dogs! Love them with all my heart!
Ohmy goodness......I've fallen in love with Hoover. I'm pretty sure Bryn and Dolly would love here as well. Bryn is our yellow lab and Dolly is our black lab granddog who became ours when our daughter moved to a place she couldn't keep her. Their inseparable now.
ReplyDeleteWe miss our babies so much. We've been putting off getting more because of our travel plans, and we raise neurotic dogs, so being away from us is hard them. Glad Hoover has someplace to go where she can feel at home (even if Molly gets her nose out of joint!)
