In just a little under 30 days, we'll be heading down to Florida for the winter. This will be our 8th full winter. On October 5, I did a blog posting entitled, I HAVE A PLAN. In it, I came up with a pretty good plan to stay on task and to get everything done on time.
- I only have 3 more rooms to go and the house will be cleaned!
- I baked some of my favorite holiday pastries and they're already in the freezer!
- I've slowly been washing some of my Florida clothes to get them ready for the trip!
- I really haven't done anything regarding my art supplies yet, there's still time.
But I thought I would really get ahead of the game and I even started some of my blog postings for when we'll be in the midst of traveling. For those of you who aren't aware, I can create my blogs, photos and all, and schedule them to post on certain days and at certain times. I was in the middle of one of them today when all of a sudden, my screen went white. This has happened a few times before and it usually goes right into a draft mode. I thought that's what happened today, but when I finished and went to save it, it looked like it had already been published. Seriously, I never touched the "publish" button, but that's exactly what happened. OOPS! I checked and it was already onto my Red Painted Cottage facebook page and someone had already liked it. OH MY! I was able to get it quickly deleted and then I saw it in a few more places, which I deleted right away. I have no idea what happened, but I really didn't want this to be published yet, because it will be in two parts and I was saving this for when we traveled to Florida. I don't know if it was the computer or if it was Blogger, but hopefully it won't happen again.
So if you were one of the ones who read this, just know it will be published the beginning of December, along with part 2. I'll have lots of really great recipes to keep all of you busy while trying them out.
Anyways, before I go, I have to share a photo I received late last night. They're of our grandkids who live in Virginia. Sophia is a Candy Corn Witch and Adriel a Ninja...
Grandma's have to do this, you know!
