Looking Back On 2012

I don't know if many of you knew or remembered that I gave myself a huge challenge for 2012.  I was going to try and write a blog posting for every day in 2012.  I really tried to do my best and for the most part I did, up until sometime in November where I skipped a couple and then in December where I was really getting "pooped out" from everything.  Not too bad, considering it was for a total of 366 days and I only missed about 12 for the entire year! 

My word for 2012 was "FLOURISH".  I gained more followers on both my blog and the Red Painted Cottage Facebook page.  For the latter, I'm currently just under 950 followers.  WOW, A BIG  "THANK YOU" to everyone of you who follow me on either one or both.  Sometimes I have great things to show or tell you and other times, not so much, so I really appreciate you hanging in there with me.

I also want to give a big "THANK YOU" to everyone who was able to leave me comments on my blog or Facebook page.  I read everyone of them!  With Blogger, it's really difficult for me to reply to all of your comments on my blog, but I want you to know how much I appreciate everyone of them that you leave for me.  Although I have to add, I don't appreciate a few that have spammed my blog or facebook page.  Not Good of you to do!  But I'm sure those that spammed me are probably not even reading this right now.

Mr. Cottage and I are going to get a pizza and join our "happy hour" friends for an early celebration this evening.  Then it will be back to our RV for movies and/or games until we crash for the night.

So I'm wishing all of you a HAPPY NEW YEAR for 2013 and to check back on January 1, 2013 to see my plans for 2013...
