Finally, We Meet!

Sorry for a bit of a delay in writing another blog posting, but I know many of you were aware that I was in Lake Geneva, WI for an art retreat with many of my Fly-Tribe girlfriends.  This is the first time that many of us have met in person, even though we first met online nearly two years ago for an e-course by Kelly Rae Roberts...

Our retreat was held at The Abbey Resort in Fontana, WI, which just happens to be on the shores of Lake Geneva.  The resort was so large, that by the end of our stay, we finally were able to walk around without getting lost...

The weather wasn't at it's best, but for the most part we stayed inside for our workshops and other activities.  If you look in the photo below, you'll see a firepit in the bottom right which was lit with people sitting around it one evening...

There's so much I want to share about the workshops and what we did but I'll sharing this over several blog postings...

When it came time to actually leave, AAA had routed me a totally different way than when I came in and I was able to see more cottages, houses and scenery...
