What Can I Say!

If you don't want to do something, one excuse is as good as another.

So much for all the short blog postings I was going to try and do.  I got so consumed with preparing for the two shows and trying to get ready for Thanksgiving and Christmas and now I look at the calendar and see that Christmas Eve is only two weeks away.  This year has really flown by for me.

As far as the shows went, I was a bit disappointed.  In one of them, I didn't care for my location and in the other one, there were crowds of people in the morning, but for whatever reason, there weren't many sales.  So now the dilemma, what to do with all my art?  Mr. Cottage said to concentrate on Etsy (that's like searching for a particular grain of sand at the beach) and the other is for me to put them in stores and galleries.  I think for now, I'm going to put it all on the back burner and concentrate on our new home.  Here's some photos I took of my booth at the most recent show...

Because we're getting slammed with snow today, I thought I would show you our own winter wonderland from our living room window...

Mr. Cottage filled both bird feeders today and I think the word got out about it...

Even a male cardinal showed up...

Doesn't he look beautiful against the white snow...

I've started to decorate for Christmas and we're still making this new house our home.  I have much to share with you now that I have a bit more time on my hands.

  2. Your stall looked great, I'm sorry there weren't many sales. I too know what it's like to be left with a lot of art and to wonder what to do with it all. Love your snow scenes.
