It's The "Little Details" In Our Bathroom

I try to decorate my imagination as much as I can.
                                           Franz Schubert

Yesterday, I shared the big changes we made in updating our bath.  You can read more about it here.  Today I want you to see the "little details" that help make a house a home...

Remember last summer when I said I awoke at 4:15 am to get this cabinet at an estate sale!  You can read about this great sale right here...

Inside the cabinet, more shells...

And sea salt from the Dead Sea, brought back to me by our eldest son from his trip to Jordan...

The minute I saw this sign, I knew it was meant for me.  I LOVE it...

And this is the antique medicine cabinet I found at a great new place I had discovered...

The vintage cabinet came with a wood knob and Mr. Cottage changed it out to this glass vintage-looking knob...

Mr. Cottage and I found this whimsical flamingo at a fine art show a couple of years ago in Florida...

This comfy rug came from Anthropologie...

along with this dish to hold my everyday earrings and favorite perfume...

And for your info, Mr. Cottage loves the new bathroom; but then again, he loves pretty much everything I do.  But at the same time, he really could care less about decorating.  Take one look at our rustic cottage.  He's not fussy, at all!  Love you, Mr. Cottage!!
