Thursday's Ramblings - Pinterest

“This could be addictive.”

I LOVE PINTEREST!!  Most anyone who goes onto this site falls in love with it.  You can check out my page/boards at this link.  I currently have 45 boards, all with different topics and names that I've given to them.  If you're still not familiar with Pinterest, it's like having one of your favorite magazines with everything all on one big page.  One of my boards is simply called IDEAS TO TRY.  This is one of the ideas I thought was so cute for anyone with babies or toddlers...

Here's another idea I want to try...

If you click right here, you'll see how to do this.  I will admit that I haven't tried it yet, but I know I have hair spray residue in all of our bathrooms.

Then I have a board named ART.  This is one of my pinnings showing the color variations with glazing with watercolors...

If you click here, again you'll see how to do this.

I've been wanting to try art journaling so I started a board for accumulating art journaling ideas...

And then there's my SO YUMMY board with great looking food, you can almost smell and taste the photos.  This one, of cinnamon rolls really looks so yummy...

By clicking on here, you'll find the recipe for these cinnamon rolls.  Don't they look yummy?  I'm going to try making them after we get back home to Michigan.

I think you get the point of Pinterest.  However, there's a really big controversy going on right now among artist, photographers, and other professionals.  It all has to do with copyright and the legality of pinning works that belong to others.  Here's a really good article for you to read about all of this, if you want to know more.  I know of many people who have decided to get rid of all their boards and not to bother with Pinterest anymore.  For me, it hasn't been an issue.   As I stated above, I LOVE Pinterest and have no desire to quit using it.   But I would like to ask all of you a big favor though.  PLEASE keep all of your Pinterest pins for your own use and be careful not to use them in the wrong way.  I'm keeping my fingers crossed that Pinterest doesn't go the way of Napster.
