Getting back to normal, S-L-O-W-L-Y

As I write this, I'm drinking coffee out of one of my favorite mugs...

My friend, Kelly, gave this to me last year when we had a "girls only" weekend.  It means a lot to me because Kelly and I love shopping together, especially for shoes.  When I opened our cupboard door, I saw all my favorite mugs that I had to leave behind when we left for FL...

Even though it's a bit on the chilly side outdoors, it's being home again and amongst our familiar belongings that brings a sense of peace and contentment.  Not that we didn't have this down in Florida, but lets face it, there's no place like home!

Yesterday was spent grocery shopping (our refrigerator was a tad bare) and starting on laundry.  Just to give you a preview of what lies ahead of me for this weekend...

Lots of unpacking, more laundry and getting back to normal again...whatever that means!
