I love to travel, but probably the best part is when you finally return safely back to where you began; your home. After being away for four months we have finally returned home to Michigan. Seeing the state sign was a wonderful feeling...
Unfortunately, the temperature decided to turn much colder. There was a hard freeze warning for last night as the temperature was suppose to dip down to 28 degrees...YIKES!
Even as we travelled through the Blue Ridge Mountains the other day, it was warm enough to have the windows opened a bit...
We did come back to a very clean house. Our housesitters, Jim and Lois, had everything sparkling clean, including the inside of the refrigerator. Now it's back to reality. First things first, grocery shopping and laundry. Then I'll start unpacking and getting everything back to where they belong. But to be honest, I can hardly wait to start painting and creating again. I already have several commissioned orders to complete, and new items to get listed in my etsy shop. Let the fun begin!
