May Flower Challenge - Day 12, Pansies

My flowers for today are the deep colored pansies that I love having in our garden...

Mr. Cottage likes picking them off and giving them to me to put into tiny glass containers, where I usually display them in front of our kitchen sink.  I just love how they have such a beautiful display of bright and exciting colors and patterns...

They can sure brighten up anyone's day!  I hope you've been following Lori's blog to see more of the May Flowers that are being shared.  In addition, if you go to her blog today, you'll see and read a bit about the Sketchbook Project.  This is something I'm going to take part in later this year.  Lori happens to live in New York City and went to see this project while it was showing in her lovely city.
