May Flower Challenge - Day 17, Creeping Thyme and Studio Favorites

If you want to be happy, be.
                        ~Leo Tolstoy

My flower today for Lori's blog is the Creeping Thyme. I love the look of them along walkways. Every May, they have tiny purple flowers...

What's so amazing about them is how hardy these fragile-looking plants really are. Between the harsh winters and walking on them during the year, they keep popping back up and continue to spread and do what they're suppose to do...

Now for a look at what really makes me happy in my studio...

Whimsical items, like the hand holding my business cards...

A print I purchased directly from Kelly Rae Roberts...

My mice collection...

Sandals that are 70 plus years old that my father got while serving in the South Pacific during WWII...

My paintbrushes, markers and pencils...

A phrase I love...

My first doll and a rattle that was once mine...

My grandkids Mother's Day gift to me...

An old wire basket with lots of goodies in it...

Fun patterns and colors...

Sand Dollars that Mr. Cottage and I found in the sand last winter while in Florida...

I think I'll nickname it "My Happy Place"!
