Inhale and BREATHE

If you worry about what might be, and wonder what might have been, you will ignore what is.

Finally, after a couple of chilling days, our Michigan weather is slowly warming up.  I have so much stuff to do on the computer that I decided to sit out in our gazebo today so I can enjoy nature around me...

To sit and listen to the wind chimes above me, the birds chirping, listening to the breeze going through the leaves and looking at the lake, what could be better than that...

We have a ton of hummingbirds here, but none were around when I took this shot...

Mr. Cottage takes care of the hummingbird feeder and it's hanging on a tree limb just outside one of our windows.  I can't tell you how many times we can be inside and watch them at the feeder.  I don't know if any of you are bird watchers, but I truly enjoy watching all kinds of birds.

So this is my office at the moment...

And even Molly is enjoying it out here...

Summer is much too short to be spending more time inside than we have to.  The other evening Mr. Cottage told me to come on out and bring the camera...

I stood in almost the same spot as I did for the one above shown in daylight.  You have to take time to smell the roses and can't just rush through this wonderful gift of life that we've all been given.  Have a great day and take a moment in it to see what you might otherwise not see!
