How does your garden grow?

Mary, Mary, quite contrary,
How does your garden grow?
With silver bells, and cockle shells,
And pretty maids all in a row.
                                                      English Nursery Rhyme

I know I haven't shared this, but I've been very busy painting and creating.  I finished another piece a week ago but I wanted to wait until my friend received it before I showed it on my blog or anywhere else on the internet.  Marybeth requested I make an art girl representing "her" with short blond hair.  She wanted some aqua, coral, yellow and anything else that might be Caribbean looking .  She also had the phrase all picked out, but other than that I could do whatever my heart desired.  Because I added flowers and there's a window in the background, I decided to name it "How does your garden grow?"  after the nursery rhyme...

The drawing above was created by William Wallace Denslow (1856-1915).  I think today's gardeners look just a tad different.  Here's my version for my friend that I just sent to her...

I forgot to take photos of the edges of the canvas before I sent it off, but it really doesn't matter, because prints can only be made from the front portion that you see.  Yes, I will be selling prints of these, as soon as I get them listed in my Etsy shop.  I'd love to hear what you think of this?  I love it!!
