Get over the idea that only children should spend their time in study. Be a
student so long as you still have something to learn, and this will mean all
your life.

I just signed up for yet another e-course! I was bound and determined not to sign up for any more during this summer so I could concentrate on my own paintings that I want to do. But when one of our members in our Fly Tribe offered her very first e-course, and I might add at a really good price, I just couldn't let it slip by. Kelly Hoernig's first class is called 5 Days, 5 Canvases. She said we would learn different techniques and work with different colors of nature for 5 days. I love her art which is so much about nature. I've really been impressed with how she teaches. In addition to a PDF for us students, her video presentation is fantastic! So this is the first canvas I did...
I used an 8 x 10 inch canvas panel. Of course, I'm taking much longer than the 5 days because "life" has a way of presenting a few detours along the way, which is exactly what happened with me last week. I'd love to hear your feedback on this!

Hi Carol! Thanks for stopping by my whimsical warren and leaving your lovely comment. I hope you do try making the table. I had to fiddle with my measurements a little but overall it was pretty easy. I'd love to see your table if you give it a go. Your artwork and blog are really fantastic!
