Here are some more memories from our special day in Grand Haven, Michigan...

Unfortunately, every year there  are way too many lives lost from this pier, and in the majority of cases, it's usually young people.  So sad...

 

 

After walking out on the pier, we drove into Grand Haven and look what greeted us...

Little did we know, but they were celebrating the arts in their own way.  Rather than Artprize, they have ArtWalk, with maps, voting and a very distinguished way of identifying their venues.  Also, look what else we found all along the streets in town...

I asked an employee at one of the stores for a recommendation on where to dine.  She recommended The Kirby Grill, so that's where we went.  Afterwards, we headed back to the pier to watch the sun set...

What a beautiful end to a perfect day!!!
