BASMATI RICE WITH PINE NUTS
You'll need to follow the directions on the container of Aromatic or Basmati Rice. In place of the water, use canned chicken broth. For approximately 1 cup of uncooked rice, use approximately 1/4 cup of freshly chopped parsley and approximately 1/4 cup of pine nuts. Salt and pepper to taste. This is the brand I use, but any that says Aromatic or Basmati Rice will be fine...
Chop approximately 1/4 cup of fresh parsley. I use the flat Italian parsley...
If you've never used pine nuts, you'll love their crunchy taste. After opening, I always freeze the rest...
Following the directions on my rice container, I poured the correct amount of chicken broth into a pan and then added the parsley and pine nuts...
I then added a cup of the basmati rice to the pan...
Bring it to a boil,
Cover, simmer and serve when it's finished...
