I Love A Parade

No, I haven't fallen off the radar!  We've been unpacking, settling in and meeting up with both old and new friends. 

A few years ago, Mr. Cottage and I went to the Parade of boats display in Sarasota.  We arrived early and had front row seating.  We decided to attend this year, along with some new friends whom we met.  Richard and Sherry are from Maine and we decided to take them along with us this year, while they provided yummy food for us to eat, picnic style, while we waited for it to get dark and for the parade to start.  All front row seating was taken by the time we arrived, but we still ended up in a really great location...

FYI, that is someones private yacht shown above.  Once it got dark, the parade began with reindeers...

Palm trees...

Santa...

Even trains...

Pirates...

Even a few sailboats...

Cat In The Hat...

Lights galore...

The Nativity...

And even Angels...

And, YES, that's a real person hanging over the side with wings...
