Just yesterday I was asked if I had ever seen an all white pelican and I honestly couldn't remember if I had or not.
This morning, on our way to church, we drove past a small lake that was covered in a sea of white...
At first I thought they were all white swans because that's what I'm use to seeing on the lake at the cottage. But Mr. Cottage said, "NO, they're all white pelicans"! I yelled for him to stop the truck and that I needed to take a photo of them. There was one other person standing on the shore taking photos of them, too...
I grabbed my iPhone and with me in my heels, I walked over to the lake as quickly as I could because we had to get moving to make it to church on time...
Seriously, I've never seen so many of one type of bird on a lake as what I was now looking at. It really was a site that took your breath away...
Nature is truly amazing and now you can all say that you've seen white pelicans...
