I mentioned yesterday how we went on the LaBarge Cruise around Sarasota Bay.  I saw more houses than I could ever take photos of but I wanted to show you how some of the rich and famous live in this area.  Some of these photos can't even begin to show you how huge some of these houses really are...

2.  We were told that this one just recently sold for about $6,000,000...

4.  This is one of my favorite styles, the Key West look...

5.  This corner lot on the bay has a captain's house behind the main house, oh my...

6.  This was one of the few houses where we actually saw people.  The kids were playing on the patio, but for the most part, many of these houses are closed up and it's owners are living elsewhere at the moment...

7.  This is all one house that seemed to go on and on...

8.  This is another one that I really loved, especially the green tile roof...

9.  We were told that one of the members of AC/DC owns this house and that the pool is in the shape of a guitar...

10.  This is 13,000 square feet in size and three people live here...

12.  This gorgeous house sits right where Lucy and Desi Arnaz's house once stood...

Mr. Cottage and I once had a discussion with someone about winning the lottery and then we could live on the Bay, but then reality set in and we decided that even if we won, we wouldn't be able to continue to maintain the taxes on this location.  It's always nice to dream though!  My favorite is number 4, the Key West.  Please share you favorite!
