A Day At The Zoo With Corbin

Zoo animals are ambassadors for their cousins in the wild.

I know in my last blog posting I talked about my crazy schedule and some of the stuff that's been going on.  Because things are still beyond crazy, I'm finally getting around to sharing my day at the zoo with my youngest grandson, Corbin, and his parents.   On our way to Binder Park Zoo in Battle Creek, Michigan...

Finally we arrive...

And we see a Bald Eagle...

Oh look, a Red Kangaroo!  Corbin's mother, Erin, is from Australia where these roam all over the continent...

Corbin and his mother and father going on a train ride.  My knee was really bothering me and one look at how low the seats were, made me decide to watch the stroller instead...

No, it's not a Kangaroo, but a Wallaby...

Actually there were quite a few Wallabies and an Emu...

Lemurs...

Snow Leopard...

The Emu decided to check us out...

An albino peacock...

Mexican Gray Wolf...

Llama...

Peacocks were walking all around the zoo grounds...

After walking around parts of the main zoo, we took off on the tram to Wild Africa, which I'll share with you tomorrow.
