“Some women pray for their daughters to marry good husbands. I pray that my girls will find girlfriends half as loyal and true as the Ya-Yas.”
~Rebecca Wells, Divine Secrets of the Ya-Ya Sisterhood
Seriously, I don't know what I would do without my girlfriends. I feel so sad for any girl or woman who says they
don't have a really close friend. Boyfriends and husbands just aren't the same as girlfriends. Don't get me wrong, I love Mr. Cottage; but women really understand one another. My best friend, Kelly, and I can talk and talk and shop and shop and never get tired of each other...

A couple of weeks ago I did a post about How To Have A Happy Life. Along with that, friendship and health are equally important...
With my high school friend, Kathy. Sorry for the blurry photo. |
For myself, weight is one of my biggest concerns because diabetes runs in my mother's family. Almost all my cousins have this disease, and after seeing first hand what it did to my mother, I try to do everything I can to maintain my weight...
For me, I've found the South Beach Diet the best diet to help keep my weight in check. Everyone should try their best to know your family's health history. Carol & Michelle (My blogging friend from Australia) |
The CDC has a lot of information that you and your friends can refer to. Oscar Insurance, which you can read about right here, has created an infographic to help celebrate friendship and support by helping each other to stay safe and life a healthy life...
Keep your connections with your friends to help one another and to remind them how important they mean to you. And a big THANK YOU to Oscar Insurance and the CDC!
