It's time to start living the life you've imagined.

I never, in my wildest dreams, would have thought I would be where I am today from just a year ago. I still can't believe I have a blog, I'm on twitter, I've got art listed for sale on Etsy and have even had a few sales, I've gotten prints made from my original art and have had them matted, I've taken numerous online courses to learn more about my creative endeavors, and the best thing to come out of all of this is the wonderful friends I have made through our private Facebook group of artists, which we have named Fly Tribe. We're all on our own creative journey but we've been helping one another along in various ways.
I know I've mentioned about me taking another online class called Hello Soul, Hello Business. It's been a very intensive class with a ton of homework. Let me repeat that...HOMEWORK!! Yikes, I haven't done homework in ??? years. I've done some of it, but not all. Needless to say, I'm a tad behind in my homework. Actually the homework in this case isn't going to be graded and it's only to benefit each one of us who are enrolled in the class. I'm not sure what the average age is, but I'm willing to wage bets that I'm one of the oldest. Some of our homework has us listing some of our investment goals for the next 5-10 years. Now for the younger ones in this class, this isn't much of a problem; but for me, geez, all I want to do is paint, create art, sell my art, etc. Because of my age, I'm not thinking in terms of 5-10 years. Nope, I have to think in terms of maybe 2-3 years. Sounds good to me. But I do see what all this method behind the madness means. Regardless of my age, if I want to be successful with my art, I still need to apply what is being taught in this course.
I think part of my problem, for now, is I'm just plain busy. Almost too busy to really take advantage of the course right now. I've been downloading and saving what I can and I know I'll still have access to this class for at least three months after it's over. All of which is a good thing. Right now I still have watercolor paintings to complete, another watercolor workshop is coming up on Tuesday and I'm going to be in an Art Exhibit in our RV park next Saturday. Plus I'm teaching a lesson in one of my watercolor classes in a little over a week, so there's prep for that.
There's only so many hours in a day, and now that's been taken away from all of us today because of our daylight savings time that went into effect while we slept last night. So for whatever time you have left remaining today, hope it's great and enjoy the great sunset photo below...
