May Flower Challenge - Day 21, Back to Making Lists

Just living is not enough... one must have sunshine, freedom, and a little flower.

My flower for today is the familiar petunia.  We've been planting them for a number of years in large pots that we keep on our deck.  And right from the get go I've always chosen bright pink, as in fuchsia!  I love the way it looks so bright and cheerful...

When the boys were younger and I was working, I was such a list maker.  It was the only way I could remember what had to get done, by when, appointments, what to buy, where to go, who to call, and on and on.  Of course the boys grew up and left home and I no longer work (a real job outside of the house, that is).  My list making kind of disappeared over the past few years, until very recently.  Now I find myself leaving for California in another week, so I've been making a list of what to pack and which supplies I need to bring along with me.  Mr. Cottage and I are officially moving to the Red Painted Cottage for the summer, this coming weekend, so I need a list of which clothes, spices, etc. to take with me.  I've committed myself for several projects with my Fly Tribe, such as not one, but two inspiration decks (I'll show you more about them this week), my June ATC's which has the theme "Mellow Yellow" (doesn't that sound like fun!!); and I totally forgot that I had signed up to help make a couple of pages for an art journal that one of the Fly Tribe members is going to put together.  How I could have forgotten the latter, I have no idea because all my papers and instructions are sitting on top of my printer, next to this computer, in my studio!

On top of all this, I started another online course this morning.  It's called How to Build a Blog You Truly Love with Liv Lane.  It will last for 6 weeks.  If this sounds like something you might be interested in, it's not too late to sign up!.  Just click on either of my links and you can start right in.  I've got a couple of other classes I'm interested in, too, but I've learned never to take more than one at a time to get the full benefit of the class.

Gee, I just remembered a few phone calls I need to make this week, too.  I better go and add them to my list.  YIKES, this is going to be a busy week for me!!
