Grilled Chicken

Hunger:  One of the few cravings that cannot be appeased with another solution.

I have to be honest here and tell you I don't grill the chicken, Mr. Cottage does.  So even though this recipe says grilled chicken, it's really my yummy basting sauce.  Once again, this is an oldie, but a goodie.  It's simple, light and delicious.  Mr. Cottage uses it almost every time we have grilled chicken.

BASTING SAUCE FOR GRILLED CHICKEN

1 stick butter or margarine
4-5 tablespoons of Lawry's seasoning salt
1/2 cup Realemon juice from the jar

Melt the butter or margarine.  Add the juice and the seasoning salt and stir together.  This recipe will baste 2 fryers...

Mr. Cottage is a grilled chicken connoisseur.  He always cooks them to perfection.  I never precook the chicken, but we put it on the grill raw.  He grills it slowly and turns it often, and never, never baste the chicken until it's almost cooked.  Happy grilling!
