OK, call us strange, weird or just normal but I'm going to refer to Bella and Mercedes as Molly's cousins. There's really nothing new to report on our little Molly right now, so I thought for Moments with Molly this month, I would show you about her cousins in Virginia. Bella is actually short for Isabella and she's a Hungarian Vizsla who's really wired up because she's only 1 1/2 years old. Lots of Energy!! Mercedes on the other hand, is a 13 year old Weimaraner whom we've nicknamed Lumpy and Bumpy because she has so many lumps and bumps. Nothing cancerous, but she's just too old to have them removed. Mercedes has always loved food and loves to eat. I could tell you some stories about her, but I'm not going there today. So when she's fed, she eats immediately. Bella, on the other hand, takes her time, eats a bit, goes away and then comes back for more. Here, Bella is going back just to make sure that Mercedes doesn't touch her food...
Otherwise, Mercedes just lays around the food dish hoping she can reach in when no one is looking...
When I was visiting in Virginia a few weeks back, the family took off to the neighbors house and my daughter-in-law told me to lock the door behind her, otherwise Bella would open it!! I thought she was joking, but apparently not...
She'll actually stand up and manages to push the door handle to slide the door open! I wasn't able to get a photo of her doing this, but here she sits just wanting to go with the rest of the family.
Before leaving for the airport that day, my granddaughter, Sophia, called me into their bonus room to see what she had done with Bella...
Just too cute!!
My precious granddogs...
What more can I say!
