Too Short A Visit

A grandmother is a mother who has a second chance.

Son #1 came for a really short visit, as in two days, all the way from Virginia.  The kids had Friday and Monday off from school and he had the time off from work, so why not.  The problem was it was really short.  On the day before they left we walked to a small park in our subdivision so the kids could play on the merry go round.  It's an older park and from what I've heard the newer parks don't have these merry go rounds any more.  Even Bella got in on the fun.  The kids loved riding this and spent most of their time going round and round...

Just before leaving the park to go back to grandma and grandpa's house, one last photo of a good time...

Then today, Labor Day, Son #3 came up to the cottage.  Corbin, who's now 18 months old, just had his first boat ride...

I'm thinking he's not too fond of his life vest, but then again the poor little guy has been dealing with a cold...

Can you tell grandma was really enjoying her time with him...
