It's been 2 years since the cousins have all gotten together. You can really tell the difference in Corbin most of all...
There was so much going on for the week they were here, but the one night they spent at Grandma and Grandpa's house, I had decided early on that we were going to bake Grandma's Best Sugar Cookies Ever. The last time Mr. Cottage and I had been to WDW in Florida, I bought this Mickey Mouse cookie cutter...
I checked on the internet and you can buy something similar at Walmart's and other stores; however, they are much smaller in size than the one we bought.
I'm proud to say that Sophia measured all the ingredients herself. Because it was getting late (I was told they needed to get to bed early because they were going to Cedar Point the next morning), I decided to speed things up a bit and rolled the dough and made the frosting. But I let Sophia and Adriel do all the decorating. I think they finally got to bed around 11:00 pm...SHHH! Grandma's can get away with this! Here's a look at one of these huge cookies...
My sugar cookie recipe, in addition to being the absolute best, is so soft and almost cake-like. I've only shared these with my family, but I will be sharing these with you at a later date. If you really want this recipe, I would suggest you follow me by email, which you can do on the side bar of this blog post. You won't want to miss it...
like I'm already missing them...
