My Art Is In A Shop!

There is a buyer out there somewhere for almost any kind of art. Even though I paint because I love it, selling is the ultimate validation that my work has value, because someone is willing to pay money to get it.

I'm going to try and keep this short because we're all busy getting ready for turkey day, but I have some good news to share.  I met with the owner of a wonderful shop in Rockford, MI who loves to support local artists.  Our paths crossed a year ago and I finally was able to bring some of my art to her shop today.  If you're not familiar with Rockford, MI it's a quaint small town that's located on the Rogue River...

You can actually read more about the town, the river and dam, and all the great shops that are within walking distance of one another right here.  I've brought several people who have visited me from other areas to spend hours in the town of Rockford and everyone comes away loving it.

Meg, the owner of Bow-Dacious, was gracious to take the time to meet with me while we looked at the various prints and canvases that I brought in and discussed costs.  Her shop is cramped full of jewelry, clothes, home accessories, and so much more; and she has a wonderful way of displaying all the wonderful products.  It helps, too, that the walls in the shop are brick, adding to the atmosphere.

Anyone living near Grand Rapids or planning on visiting anytime soon, needs to make a side trip to Rockford and check out some of my art at Bow-Dacious...tell Meg "Carol sent you"!

  1. Congratulations, Carol. I hope it flies out of the store! Love the saying you used at the beginning - I feel the same way!
