Almost An Entire Month of Being MIA

“Celebrate endings for they precede new beginnings.”

Wow, I can't believe how fast time flies when you're having so much fun; or in our case, just plain busier than busy!  There's just so much that's been going on that I won't even go into all the details right now, but let's just say that Mr. Cottage, Miss Molly and myself are all officially homeless and living in our cottage until we find another house.  Three weeks after we listed our house, we received an offer, which we counter offered and they accepted.  Then it was onto inspections, packing,  appraisal, movers to take what we wanted and storing for us, having an estate sale, cleaning up and now the closing of the house.

Last week our friends, Tom and Char, asked us to join them for dinner and then to go to the free concert in the park.  We had no idea that there was a concert or for that matter, where the park was.  Up until now, we have spent most of our time at the cottage and lake and going into town only for grocery shopping.  But until we find another house, this is now home for us and I guess we need to acquaint ourselves with the surrounding area.

So after going to dinner we all ended up at Tower Park and watched a really great group, called The Adams Family Band...

The setting was really great, right along the Flat River...

Char was kind enough to send me the summer schedule of who the performers will be each week.   Check out the town of Greenville, MI, our new home until we find another house!
