Trying to make up for lost time?

"You can't make up for lost time, you can only do better in the future."

So much to do and so little time!  Geez, does that sound familiar with many of you?  Last month I finally started and finished making all new seat cushions for the dining chairs at the cottage.  I thought I had taken photos of our old cushions, but I can't seem to find them anywhere.  Let's just say they were older than old, as in over 20 years old.  I found some fun fabric last year and finally made the new cushions...

After I finished these, I got started on seat cushions for our dining chairs in our condo.  They're all wood and I decided to make them 2 inches thick.  For a pattern, I used a paper tablecloth and I decided to try Nu-Foam instead of regular foam...

I tried using scissors to cut, like I did for the cottage cushions, but this didn't work for the 2 inch thickness.  So I brought our electric knife with us to the cottage and started cutting.  It did a bit and then wouldn't cut anymore.  So Mr. Cottage tried and the same happened with him.  Hmmm, could it be our knife blade was a bit dull.  We received it as a wedding gift 46 years ago...

So Mr. Cottage and I went into town and bought a new one so I could finish cutting all of them...

Here's a peek of what I'm currently working on...

I'm hoping to finish them this week and I'll show them to you before I take off with Nicole and Lori to Pennsylvania.
